Cancer

For several weeks I had been having stomach pains. I saw the doctor, got some acid reducer medication, and had tests booked. The ultrasound showed something abnormal and a CT scan was booked. (Well, sort of booked. It was requested, but I never did get a date.) While I was waiting I had bad stomach pains and went into emergency at the Welland hospital.  They did a CT scan and it showed cancer.

On Tuesday Feb 25th we met with a doctor at the Walker Family Cancer Centre.  He said that it was lymphoma. It's a treatable type of cancer. There are many forms of lymphoma, so they wouldn't know which one until a biopsy was done. He estimated that it would take a couple of weeks to get that biopsy.

I was feeling encouraged. I knew that this was in God's hands and that He'd be with me.  I still feel that way.

Well, this past week we called a lot of people. We emailed a lot of people. Now we have a group of people praying for me. Thank you.
